Privacy Policy

The short version: your training log never leaves your phone unless you export or share it yourself. There is no account and no One Gym Man server. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob; purchases of One Gym Man Pro go through Apple or Google and are verified by RevenueCat.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter is stored only in the app's local storage on your device:

Your display name, units, weekly goal, rest-timer and reminder settings
Your workouts, sets, routines, custom exercises and notes
Everything computed from them: records, monsters, XP, streaks and trophies

We do not collect, receive or store any of it. You → Reset all data deletes it permanently, and we have no copy to restore. Uninstalling the app deletes it too, unless your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) had already included app data; that backup belongs to your Apple or Google account, and we have no access to it.

Backups you create

You → Backup & restore creates a backup file and hands it to your device's share sheet, and importing reads a file you pick. Where that file goes — Files, a cloud drive, an email to yourself — is entirely your choice, and that service's own privacy policy applies to it.

Sharing a knockout

KO cards are drawn on your device and shared only to the app you choose. The message includes a challenge link to gym.chinesepowered.com containing the monster's name, its tier, the feat and the display name you chose, so whoever opens it can see the challenge. Our website shows those values in the visitor's browser and does not store them, and it removes them from the address bar before any ad code loads; like any website, our web host may keep standard access logs.

Reminders

Training reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. The app asks for notification permission only when reminders are switched on: at the end of setup (where they start on and one tap turns them off), on the Reminders screen, or when you restore a backup that has them on. No push service and no server are involved, and you can turn them off in the app or in your device settings at any time.

Advertising (free version)

The free version shows a banner on the main tabs and an occasional full-screen ad after a finished workout, served by Google AdMob. One Gym Man Pro removes ads.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), Google's consent form asks for your choices before any ads load. You can change them later under You → Ad privacy choices.
On iOS, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission after your first workout. If you decline, ads are not personalized using your device's advertising identifier.

Our website

gym.chinesepowered.com shows ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this and other websites; Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads based on those visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings (or, for other vendors, at aboutads.info). See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Purchases (One Gym Man Pro)

One Gym Man Pro is a one-time purchase sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see your payment details. The app uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and restore them on a new device. RevenueCat receives the store's purchase information together with a random, anonymous app user ID generated on your device — not your name or email. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. To use Pro on a new device, tap Restore purchases on the You tab.

Children

One Gym Man does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Everything entered in the app stays on the device.

Your choices and rights

Delete your data at any time with Reset all data or by uninstalling the app.
Change ad consent in the app (where offered), limit ad tracking in your device settings, or remove ads with Pro.
For anything held by Google or RevenueCat, you can use the tools in their policies above, or contact us and we'll help — for example, to have the anonymous RevenueCat ID associated with your purchases deleted.

One Gym Man is a training log and game. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a healthcare professional before starting a new exercise program, and stop if anything hurts.
